The new messaging interface allows the sending and receiving of WhatsApp messages. Recipients can be targeted via SMS or WhatsApp according to their preferences, context, news content or use behaviour. A user’s response can automatically trigger a reaction, which has been predefined within the marketing automation function – analogous to SMS.
