ELAINE technologies has been awarded Gold status in the “Hall of Fame of Email Security” by Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). The award honors companies that actively implement the highest email security standards, making a vital contribution to safeguarding digital communication in Germany. The “Hall of Fame of Email Security” is part of the Email Security Year 2025 – an initiative by BSI in cooperation with eco – Association of the Internet Industry and the digital association Bitkom. Companies listed in the Hall of Fame commit to implementing the BSI’s technical guidelines (TR), thereby ensuring key protection mechanisms are in place.
These guidelines define standards for secure email transport and authentication. They require the use of robust encryption to prevent unauthorized access, reading, or manipulation of email messages. Email programs must also be able to verify whether a sender is legitimate or if an address has been forged – a safeguard against identity theft and impersonation by cybercriminals.t ist.
